Are Brooklinen Percale Sheets Worth It?
We were due for a new pair of sheets recently. We had a set from Ralph Lauren that I did really like, but they started to fall apart so I was in the market for a new set. I did a lot of research and I was between Parachute and Brooklinen. Brooklinen is a tad cheaper and both have great reviews so I ended up going with the latter. I figured that a pair of white sheets are fairly basic, so Brooklinen made more sense.
I ordered the classic percale sheet set in cream. The packaging was really nice when it arrived, which I really do appreciate. I immediately through them in the wash. They will get softer with every wash and they were quite soft to begin with.
I made the bed, and the sheets do have little signs on the inside that designate the short and long side, which is super helpful. We have a standard mattress with a topper, so some sheets are not deep enough, but these fit just fine. The color cream is nice, not a stark white, which is what I wanted. I have a different duvet cover from Target on top, but whenever that goes I will probably replace with a Brooklinen version.
Pros
- Soft
- Variety of colors
- Deep enough to fit deep mattress
- Always have sales and discount codes
- Different types of materials (percale, linen, sateen)
Cons
- Can be pricey for just a sheet and pillow case set
- Can’t feel in person, must order online
- They are a bit see-through and I can see my mattress topper underneath
I am very happy with the sheets so far and would definitely repurchase. But I do have my eyes on this Parachute cloud quilt ๐.
