Best Amazon Purchases of 2020
Amazon is a necessary evil to me. I love the convenience of having things delivered to me in a couple of days, but I realize how powerful Amazon and Jeff Bezos are and I don’t like it. I do make an effort to buy my books off Bookshop, which supports local bookstores. Sometimes, though, you can’t beat Amazon and I have compiled a list of my favorite purchases from Amazon this year. There are a few categories (home goods, clothes, self care and miscellaneous) with links to all the products.
Home Goods
Instant Pot Air Fryer Lid. This is my newest Amazon purchase and I love it. All the air fryer memes are so accurate. I already own an Instant Pot, so the lid attachment made more sense than buying a whole new appliance. I really like it so far, and have gotten a lot of use out of it.
Pour Over Coffee. Can never have too many methods to make coffee. I got this for Sean for Christmas, and he loves it. A very simple way to make a good cup of coffee and it looks nice. Very affordable too.
Oxi Clean. I have white towels and sheets, so this is necessary. This really does revive whites more than just detergent alone. Would recommend if you are trying to keep your white sheets or towels looking crisp and not dingy.
Heated Blanket. Sean bought this originally because I am cold a lot and it is fantastic. If you live somewhere cold, I really recommend getting a heated blanket.
Clothing
Lululemon Align jogger dupe. These are the best joggers. They are very similar to the Lululemon align joggers, but much more affordable. They come in a ton of colors and don’t pill. They fit TTS.
Biker Shorts. I have three pairs of these shorts and they are excellent. I got several of my friends to buy them too and they love them. Perfect inseam, and tons of colors and patterns.
Built in bra tank top. Another good athletic/athlesiure top. Very affordable and comes in a ton of colors. I wear a medium and it is supportive enough for light workouts or casual wear.
Tie Dye shirt. I love tie dye stuff and this shirt is just so happy I love it. It is a thicker material and I got it in a size large so it was a bit more oversized.
Self Care
Dry Brush. This is a relatively new purchase and new addition to my self-care routine. I dry brush my legs before I shower and it helps exfoliate the dry skin off. Would recommend if you struggle with dry skin or ingrown hairs.
Five Minute Journal. I got this for Christmas, so I haven’t had it for long but I really like it so far. If you want to get into journalling, but don’t know what to write, this is for you. It gives you prompts and guides you through journalling every morning and evening for just a couple minutes.
Back massager. This is a really nice massager for the price. Seems kind of random, but it’s nice to put on after sitting at a desk all day.
Miscellaneous
Hair Clips. Jumping on the claw clip trend here and these are both cute and affordable. Would recommend.
Bluetooth Car Adapter. We bought a car this year and I want to play music off my phone, and this does the trick!
