Casual Sweater and Jeans

Happy end of the week! I wore this casual outfit this past weekend when the weather was beautiful. We finally saw the sun and it was warm enough to only wear a light jacket. It was lovely. I wore this to brunch at Crosby’s Kitchen (which I recommend if you’re in Lakeview or Lincoln Park).

I’m wearing a pair of Levi 501 straight jeans. They have a button fly, which I like but can be kind of annoying to re-button but worth it in my opinion. I have a western belt and western style Marc Fisher booties as well. And on top I have an old cashmere sweater. I never understood the cashmere hype (or high prices) until I got this sweater for Christmas and now it makes sense. So soft and cozy. Super simple outfit but appropriate for a casual lunch.
