Everlane 90’s Cheeky Straight Jean Review

I got the Everlane 90’s Cheeky Straight jeans in June and didn’t get much wear out of them for several months considering it was 800 million degrees. But now that the temperature had dropped considerably it is jeans season! And I miss wearing jeans and normal outfits. So whenever I have a chance, I will put on a pair of jeans and a real outfit. Enter the Everlane 90’s jean. I do love a rigid 100% cotton jean. They feel more substantial than a stretchy jean and I like the vintage look to them. I am a big fan of the Levi’s 501 jean and ribcage.

I got the Everlane 90’s jean in vintage sunwashed blue and in my normal jeans size of 28. I got the ankle length and they are a bit short on me (I’m 5’9″) so I wish I had gotten the longer length, but it wasn’t worth returning for me.

They are definitely no stretch and were VERY tight out of the box. The thing with 100% cotton jeans is that they do stretch out with several wears. So I have been wearing them around the house in order to stretch them out a bit.

They have a good high rise and are about the same rise as my Levi’s 501 (just below my bellybutton) and below the rise of my Levi’s ribcage. They also have a concealed button fly, which I think is a nice touch.

Everlane recently launched some new colors in this style of jean and I am tempted to grab another pair, but I really don’t need another pair. If I were to buy another, I might size up so they are more comfy around the house (and because pandemic lol).
