The Best Spices and Seasonings from Trader Joe’s

I love going to Trader Joe’s and even though they are a smaller grocery store, they have a very robust seasoning and spice selection. You can get just about anything you need, plus some fun different seasoning blends or around the holidays a seasoning bundle. There are some spices that don’t fit super well into any specific category, so they are in the other category at the end.

Salts

Trader Joe’s Pink Salt Crystals – This is a staple in our pantry. It is pretty self-explanatory, but a nice pick up when we’re there.

Trader Joe’s Garlic Salt – We just recently got this and have already used almost half! This is a multipurpose salt that works with a lot of different foods.

BBQ

Trader Joe’s South African Smoke – This is fairly spicy, but works really well as a rub on meat that you’re going to grill. Just don’t use too much!

Trader Joe’s BBQ – This is another good meat rub. We really like to use this on chicken, let it sit for a couple hours and then grill. The container is also pretty large, which makes it a good buy.

Blends

Trader Joe’s Everything but the Bagel – This is a classic that I feel like everyone knows about, but is worth mentioning here. I go through this pretty quickly and often use it on avocado toast.

Trader Joe’s Everything but the Elote – This is a new addition to the Everything but the family, and I really like it! Good to have around to add to corn, rice and so much more!

Trader Joe’s Chile Lime – This also has some heat to it if you use a lot of it, but is really tasty on Mexican food or chicken/other kinds of meat.

Other

Trader Joe’s Garlic Powder – This is another pantry staple, but worth including. This adds a nice garlic (duh) flavor, but isn’t too overpowering.

Trader Joe’s Furikake Japanese Seasoning – I love this stuff. Goes really well with Asian food and even just on some rice to spice it up. It is mostly seaweed and sesame seeds.

Trader Joe’s Lemon Pepper – This seasoning is great on fish. We use this less frequently than the garlic salt, but still is good to have on hand.

Trader Joe’s Oregano – This is another pantry staple that we always pick up when we run up. We like to add this to the air fryer french fries with some garlic salt.
