Imperfect Foods Review

Happy end of the week! The weather here is really trying to warm up but some days it is still quite chilly in the morning. I also got my Imperfect Foods this afternoon and have been meaning to do a review of my experience with them. Keep reading if you like produce and getting deliveries.

Here is what the box looked like upon opening. This week I got some romaine, spinach, carrots, parsnips and other assorted vegetables. I also got some fruit pictured below, cheese and those pretzels. For all this it was $25!

I got some avocados, pears and kiwis in my fruit bowl. The fruit is usually on the smaller side, but very affordable. Imperfect foods has also expanded into more pantry staples, so I picked up some dark chocolate covered pretzels. And I can report that they are delicious. Another one of my favorite pantry staples I get is dried mango pieces.

Imperfect also has dairy and meat products. I got some sharp white cheddar this week, which is really tasty. I have also gotten Califia oat milk as well, which is super nice to get in my box because that means I don’t have to carry it home.

Overall, I look forward to picking out the items when I decide to get a box. Imperfect is very flexible on their website in terms of allowing you to skip weeks and move your delivery dates around, which I really appreciate. There are some weeks that I don’t need a box, so I make sure to switch my weeks around or cancel a couple of weeks. The delivery fee is $5, which I think is reasonable.

It seems like every time I log on to pick my items there are new choices. I have been using Imperfect Foods since they were just Imperfect Produce and when they didn’t carry anything other than fruits and vegetables. I love their mission of eliminating food waste and passing on the savings to the consumer. This service is perfect service if you’re busy and on the go or want to try something new. If you’re interested, use my link to get some money off! I also get some money off if you use it, which helps me πŸ™‚

I also want to note, that there have been a few instances where I am missing a piece of fruit or something and I have reached out to their customer service team and they couldn’t be more helpful. They gave me a credit for the missing item and also a credit towards my next box.

This is my Imperfect foods impact report. Brings me so much joy.
