Is Parachute Bedding Worth It?

Building upon my last bedding review, I got some new Parachute bedding. During their Black Friday sale, I picked up the Parachute Cloud Cotton Quilt. I had my eye on this quilt for a long time, but it was pricey so I waited until their twice yearly sale (they have sales for Black Friday and Memorial day where everything is 20% off). If you want other deals, they have bundles on sheets and duvets that will save you a bit of money. The packaging when it arrives is really nice too.

I picked out the quilt in the Natural/Ivory color because I didn’t want something so stark white. The color you see below is the darker color, and I have the lighter color facing out. If you want to see more pictures of all the different colorways, go to Parachute’s website and scroll down to see all of the tagged instagram photos. That is what I used to decide on this color.

The quilt is a really nice size and adds a good weight to the bed. It is Parachute’s warmest quilt and in combination with the comforter, the bed is significantly warmer than before. The actual fabric is soft to the touch, but it is delicate in the sense where it could snag on something rough. The way the fabric is woven, makes the blanket “cloud like” and almost puffy, which I really like. The website describes it as light and fluffy and I definitely agree with that. The only con is the price. Parachute bedding is on the more expensive side and this quilt starts at $219 for a twin. I would recommend waiting for one of their sales like I did.
