My Most Worn Coat – The Everlane Trench Coat
This post has been a long time coming. I bought the Everlane Modern Trench Coat in March of 2021, so I have had this coast for a little over a year and I can say this is one of the most worn coats in my wardrobe. I love how versatile it is, it’s ability to elevate a casual outfit and add a light layer in the Spring and Fall months. Everlane only has one size left in the Modern Trench, but they released a gathered drape trench that looks very similar if you want the same look.
I included some of my favorite ways to style the trench below. I love throwing it over a casual outfit of a sweatshirt and leggings. It can also be a great jacket to pair with leather pants and more elevated shirt. The fabric is water repellant, which is great. I will note that this particular trench does not have a hood, which aesthetically I like, but if it is actually raining you will need a hoodie underneath or to bring an umbrella. Not a deal breaker for me, but something to keep in mind. I am 5’9″ and it falls to just below my knees, which I think looks very luxe and is exactly where I would want a longer coat to fall. I also love wearing it with white jeans, as you can see below 😂. I think the camel color looks so nice against white jeans.
