Weekly Work Outfits

It’s Friday! This week somehow seemed longer than last week and I’m not sure how that’s possible. It is snowing like crazy here, but I managed to go grocery shopping before it started coming down, which is a big win for me.

I think I should try and make this post a weekly thing if I can. When I started working in an office I felt like I had no clothes and no inspiration. Business casual can be so boring and I went from being in college wearing leggings and jeans everyday to wearing slacks and blouses. This transition felt very odd to me and lots of bloggers that I follow don’t work in an office so I couldn’t exactly draw inspiration from them.

So I took bathroom selfies (best I can do) everyday this week of what I wore to the office. I wore a lot of blue this week, which make sense when I think about it because I like blue a lot. I also think that posting this series weekly will help me spice up my work outfits so I don’t repeat too many on here!

I work in a very business casual environment, but unfortunately I cannot wear jeans. So I wear a lot of blouses, button downs and turtlenecks (in the winter) with business pants. Turtlenecks in the winter are one of the best items to wear I think. They are comfy because they are a t shirt, but they also look a bit nicer. As an added bonus they also keep you warm on your commute!

I get most of my business pants from Gap, J Crew, and Banana Republic and most of my tops as the same places. Marshalls also has some good finds as well!

I just want to point out that I made sure that no one was in the bathroom when I took these pictures. I did have someone walk in when I was taking a seflie, which made me very uncomfortable (lol) so I ran out. Hope this helps you next week, but until then enjoy the weekend!
