What I’ve Read Recently – December 2022

Rounding out the year with my final recap of what I’ve read – a post of my favorite books of the whole year is still coming. I finished the year strong and completed my goal of reading 35 books and actually surpassed it by reading 43 books! Actually very proud of myself. But, let’s jump into the final book recap of 2022!

Nora Goes Off Script – This was a delightful rom-com read. It was different from some of the other romance books I’ve read, but still had some common tropes that I do enjoy. Would recommend picking up if you want a sweet, quick read. 4.5/5

No Words – This book was recommended to my by the library based on another book I had on hold, so I went for it. It was just ok, and didn’t wow me at all. Wouldn’t recommend. 3/5

Frog and Toad Are Doing Their Best – This book was delightful. I checked it out from the library and read it through quickly and it is exactly as described – a bedtime story for adults. Would recommend if you want something heartwarming. 4/5

Hotel Nantucket – I do love me some Elin Hilderbrand for an escapist novel and this didn’t disappoint. If you love her other books, you’ll love this one. 4/5

Sea of Tranquility – This book was different for me, but I really enjoyed it. After I read it, I saw that Barack Obama put it on his faovirte books of the year, so that also makes me feel very cool. This is based around time travel and the events surrounding one specific moment. Definitely worth a read 4.5/5

Wild – I saw the movie that is based on the book years ago and finally picked up the book. I loved it and wanted to immediately wanted to re-watch the movie. Would recommend 4.5/5

What I’m Reading Next

Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow – This book seems to be on everyone’s list so I put it on hold at the library so excited to read this one next.
