What’s On My Christmas List
I love making a Christmas wish list every year. Half the fun for me is finding items to add to my list – it brings me back to when I was a child and would circle the toys I wanted in catalogs. While I do not need any of these items, they fall into the category of nice to have or upgrades for items I already own. The holidays can be a good time to ask for something that you wouldn’t normally ask for yourself. This thinking also applies when giving gifts – I like to buy gifts for people that I know they wouldn’t buy for themselves but would love to receive as a gift. For my Mom’s recent birthday I got her a cashmere sweater – not something she would buy for herself and it feels very luxurious.
Chappywrap blanket – I love the print on this blanket, and living in Chicago you can never have too many cozy blankets. I wouldn’t normally spend over $100 on a blanket, which is why I added this to my wish list.
Hotel Lobby Candle – I love candles and usually buy inexpensive ones at Target or Trader Joe’s, but I have heard rave reviews on these candles and would love to receive one.
Eco-Knit Milano Stitch Oversized Shirt Jacket – Per my previous post, I have been loving Quince. This jacket looks so cute and would be a perfect layering piece for the work day or the weekend.
Italian Leather Handwoven Pouch Crossbody Clutch – Another Quince item! This bag reminds me of the incredibly expensive Bottega woven bag that I would never purchase and I love the shape.
Quince Cashmere Crewneck – Red is the color of the season, and this sweater fits that trend perfectly. Hard to go wrong with a cashmere sweater too.
Reebok Club C85 Sneaker – I have a very old pair of these sneakers that I have worn to death, so I am due for a new pair. They are some of my most worn sneakers.
Lake Pajamas – I primarily wear old t shirts to bed, so I figured it was a good time to ask for an upgraded pajama set. I have seen several bloggers rave about these pajamas, and they are more than I would normally spend on pjs, so perfect addition for the list.
