Best Shoes of 2021

I decided around Christmas time to write some posts about my favorite items from the year and I started with my favorite books, and next up is my favorite and most worn shoes of the year. Even though this year was a little bit different, I still wore a variety of different shoes and there are some stand outs that I found myself reaching for over and over. I live in Chicago and do a lot of walking, which is why most of the shoes on this list are flats. I did throw one pair of versatile heels on the list though.

Black Boots

These are one of my favorite pair of shoes in my wardrobe. I had been seeing so many different varieties of black luge sole boots, and ended up with the Sam Edelman Laguna boots. They are waterproof and are great in the Fall and Winter. Didn’t take long to break in and I would 100% recommend.

Nude Heels

Another pair of shoes that I’ve had in my closet for years and have served me well. Nude strappy low heels. I got them years ago, and I’ll link a pair from Steve Madden. They are perfect for dressier occasions, but because they are low, you can actually walk in them.

White Reeboks

These are my most worn casual shoes – Reebok Club C 85. They are so versatile and incredibly comfortable. If you need a pair of white gym shoes, these are the ones I would recommend. Affordable, comfortable and goes with everything.

White Sandals

A pair of white sandals are also a summer staple. I got these years ago from Target, and many retailers also carry similar versions. I will link a pair from Steve madden that have some beautiful colors.

Vans

I got these Vans recently and I think they are a great casual sneaker and adds a little something to the wardrobe. They are a little different than the basic white Reebok sneakers above. If you already have a pair of white sneakers and are looking to add another casual shoe, these are great.

White New Balance

I got these New Balance 327s recently as well and I didn’t really need another pair of white sneakers, but here we are 😂. These are super comfy and are a funky shape, which is what drew me to them. These are great if you want a funky casual sneaker.
