My Favorite Outfits of the Year
We’re back with another Best of/Year end post. This is a round-up of my favorite outfits that I have taken photos of this year. I think this past year I have tried to take more risks with my outfits and also tried to refine more what my style is. When I shop, I now look at clothing items in a new way and try and decide if the item fits into my new style and if I really need the item. I have also gone through my closet and done several clean outs throughout the year. After I do a clean out, I send the clothes to Thred-Up and some of the nicer pieces get sold, and the other items are donated or recycled. Would recommend using that method if you’re planning on doing a clean out. In my mind, it is a win-win! Now let’s get on with the outfits in no particular order!
This outfit is super simple, but is timeless. A Champion collegiate hoodie and light wash jeans. Would wear again.
I got a pair of the famous Zara wide leg jeans for Christmas and already have gotten use out of them. Paired the jeans with a cream quarter zip sweater. Simple and great outfit for Fall/Winter.
I was scrolling through Pinterest and saw so many cute outfits using oversized neutral blazers, so I had to get one! Another simple, neutral outfit that is great for going out to dinner.
Another blazer outfit! I wore this to a fancier dinner, and I love this look. A black dress with tall boots and a plaid blazer. 10/10.
Wore this out to dinner and I think the top makes the outfit. Very simple, but looks put together.
I love this look too. Very simple, and great for when it is chilly outside. Or when you don’t want to wear jeans π.
This is one of my favorite outfits from the Summer. I love the neutral tones and again wearing one of my favorite tops.
This is kind of a throw back outfit. I pulled out the denim mini skirt and I think it is a great piece for the Summer.
I wore this outfit on vacation and I think the pants make the outfit fun and a little different.
I wore this out to dinner and I think this is super cute. I usually wear these chinos to work, but I repurposed them and wore them with a sweater top out to dinner. Great summertime outfit.
One of my favorite pieces from this year is leather pants. I wore them a lot in the colder weather and they can be styled so many different ways. Here they are styled simply with a crewneck and boots.
