What I’ve Read Recently – December
I took a bit of a break with reading after finishing Crossroads and Bright Lights, Big City. I didn’t have my next book lined up and I got out of my reading groove. I did read two books in December and was able to meet my goal for the year of reading 24 books. I track my books using Good Reads, which helps me keep track of everything I’ve read.
What Happens in Paradise – I always love an Elin Hilderbrand book. This is the second book in a trilogy and you can read this one without the first, which is what I did without realizing it. I just ordered the finale book in the series to see how it ends. If you like her books, you’ll like this one. Love, mystery and tropical islands; what’s not to love.
American Kingpin – My Fiancé read this book and found it interesting, so after he read it I picked it up. It was a super fast read and something different than what I normally read. If you are at all interested in how the website the Silk Road was set up and how the Federal Government tried to shut it down, I would recommend.
What I’m Reading Next
It Happened One Summer – I got this book for Christmas and this will be the first book I read in the new year. It sounds like more of a summer read, but it sounds perfect for escaping the snowy weather outside!
