What I’ve Read Recently – February
A slower month as far as books I have finished, but it’s a shorter month right?? I enjoyed both books this month and both felt like an escape during the cold and snowy month. I am going on two trips in the next couple of months, so I will need to order a few books for the plane as I am out of new books on my shelf. If you have a trip coming up, either of books this month would be perfect. Or if you want to escape the cold weather they would be great too 😉.
The Unhoneymooners – This is a great vacation read and I enjoyed it, even though it was a bit predictable. If you like modern romance novels like ‘People We Meet On Vacation’, you’d like this one too. I finished this in a week. 4/5
Daisy Jones and the Six – This is now the third book by Taylor Jenkins Reid that I’ve read and I have loved them all 😂. I love how she weaves characters from her other books in and this book was no different. I tore through it and didn’t see the twist coming at the end at all! Would definitely recommend this book by Reid or any of her other more recent novels. 4.5/5
What I’m Reading Next
Beautiful World, Where Are You – My friend and I are doing a book exchange and she mailed me this book, so as soon as it arrives I will be diving in. I sent her Braiding Sweetgrass, which I finished last month.
