What to do During Quarantine on the Weekends

Last weekend we did a virtual happy hour and everyone decided to make cocktails for it. We picked up a cocktail kit from Gin and Juice, which is the takeaway arm of Three Dots and a Dash. Three Dots is a really cool tiki bar in Downtown Chicago and this is the second time we’ve picked up a cocktail kit from them. They include everything you need to make a gourmet cocktail at home. We’ve gotten Mai Tais both times and I really want to try the Painkiller as well. If you’re stuck on what to do this weekend, I would highly recommend (if you’re in Chicago) ordering a cocktail kit and making the night something special. If you’re not in Chicago, see if your local cocktail bar is doing takeaway cocktail kits. The local restaurants and bars really benefit from this and it’s fun for you too.

In the Mai Tai kit, you get a full bottle of rum, orange liqueur, lime juice, almond orgeat, cocktail umbrellas and fun decor. It was something different to make the weekend feel a bit more special and it was fun zooming with our friends while they had their tropical cocktails too. They do delivery as well, so you could get some delivered to your house or send a kit for someone’s birthday!
